This morning, on her Facebook page, journalist Hilary Barry posted a nice nature/beach photo with the words; "I took this photo on my early morning walk and thought it would be good to share for anyone who’s overwhelmed by what’s going on in the world right now. If you get the chance to go for a walk, do. As small as it sounds, it really is good for the soul."

I couldn't agree more. I find regular interaction with nature to be an integral part of my exercise routine, and a key contributor to my peace of mind. The less modified by human cleverness the environment is, the more we see the creativity of the Lord. On the other hand, a well designed and crafted garden also reminds us that creative human minds can echo the creator who made both garden and gardener.

Creative human minds also build false narratives, foment aggression and manufacture bombs and guns. In a world fueled by condemnation, judgement and lies, in which we have concerns for world peace, the environment, the climate, the economy and all the other stuff, sometimes we just need to go for a walk and reset, in the world God made.

Take a little time out and go to the source of grace and truth. John the evangelist writes; "From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace." (Jn 1:16) Dear friends, always remember to reconnect, to dwell in the fullness of Christ, in every possible circumstance. Shalom
